If this is the appointed time and if God allows events to progress via Jewish writings and expectations then I expect an earthquake (tectonic weapon) to destroy the the Dome of the Rock soon.

The news coverage will be worldwide, similar to 9/11, and that is when Hananel Dayan dressed in a purple robe, will ride a white donkey onto the Temple Mount, surrounded by his entourage to the shock of all the world. The false miracles, signs and wonders will stun everyone watching.
They will anoint and crown him King of Israel and hail him Messiah close to the rubble of the Dome of the Rock. They will then proceed to sacrifice the Red Heifer to enable the Daily Sacrifices to begin. These activities are the ancient Mosaic covenant practices that will be confirmed and enabled in fulfillment of Daniel 9:27.

The order to begin construction of the Third Temple will be given because he owns the Temple Mount. Hananel Dayan's 90th generation, direct male to male ancestor King David purchased the threshing floor for 50 silver shekels and 900 gold shekels for the entire area.
It is this knowledge that allows us to understand Hananel Dayan. When he someday walks into the Third Temple like he owns the place, it is because he does, which is his mindset and eventual doom.

The old testament gives the precise location of the former Jewish temples.

We know from scripture that the Ophel Hill wall was the north outer city wall of ancient Jerusalem.
The king of Israel, Jehoash, attacks the capital of Judah, Jerusalem, knocks down the north city wall, breaks into the Temple and steals the gold. Forty six years later, Jotham, the king of Judah, repairs that wall and the damaged north/upper Temple gate that Jehoash wrecked when he sacked the Temple We know that the North/Upper Temple gate faced the Ophel hill, scriptures say it.
These scriptures gives us the layout and precise location of the former Temple. It stood just south of the Ophel hill, which is still Mt. Moriah, about one thousand feet south of the Dome of the Rock.

Jehoash king of Israel, (Reign: 836–796 BC), broke down the wall of Jerusalem from the Ephraim Gate to the Corner Gate—a section about four hundred cubits long. 24 He took all the gold and silver and all the articles found in the temple of God

Now go back and look at King Jehoash…(2 Chronicles 25:23)..his mission was to sack the Temple. Scripture says that he knocked down the ophel wall first and then sacked the gold from the Temple. If the Temple was not in the city of David, Jehoash wouldn't have needed to knock out the wall of the city to get at the Temple gold. The North/Upper Temple gate was located at the Opel Hill. And that places the former Temple South of the Ophel Hill, not north of it as tradition says.
